Joseph Tweedale
Joseph is a talented actor, singer and multi-instrumentalist, playing cornet, french horn, trumpet and guitar.
Joseph was most recently seen in Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s 2023 Summer Season, in GYPSY, BRIEF ENCOUNTER and TO THE BONE.
His extensive theatre credits include THE MEANING OF ZONG for Bristol Old Vic, THE RUFF TUFF CREAM PUFF ESTATE AGENCY for Cardboard Citizens / Coventry Belgrade as part of the Coventry City of Culture 2021, WENDY – A PETER PAN STORY and FIVE CHILDREN AND IT for The Egg, WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINNIA WOOLF, OUR COUNTRY’S GOOD, MACBETH, A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE and OZ for the Tobacco Factory Theatre, THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE for Theatr Clwyd, OPERATION JULIE for Theatr Na Nog, A CHRISTMAS CAROL for Hull Truck Theatre, NORTHANGER ABBEY for Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds, BARNBOW CANARIES at Leeds Playhouse, amongst many others.
On screen credits include CASUALTY for the BBC, feature film DARKGAME and the Ffilm Cymru short DIRT ASH MEAT.
Joseph has played roles in multiple BBC Radio 4 productions including the dramas SAPPHO IN FRAGMENTS, WILD SWIMMING and ENGLISH ROSE and comedy series THE ATTENDANT. Joseph has also voiced roles in the Big Finish audio ranges TORCHWOOD, THE LONE CENTURION and BLIND TERROR.
Joseph is a versatile voice artist with experience in video games, such as International video game franchise ASSASIN’S CREED VALHALLA, Documentary (for BBC & ITV) and Audiobooks (Joseph voices the INSPECTOR MARCO series and is the narrator for the SHERLOCK HOLMES FOR KIDS series of books).
