Amina’s extensive screen credits include IRIS (Sky), SUSPECT: THE SHOOTING OF JEAN CHARLES DE MENEZES (ITV Studios/Etta Pictures/Disney + UK), ALEX RIDER (Amazon), TEN PERCENT (Amazon), MAXXX (hulu/C4), STATH LETS FLATS (C4), INVASION (Little Island Productions/Apple TV), CITIZEN KHAN (BBC Comedy North) and BAFTA-winning drama THE LEFT BEHIND (BBC). She was also a regular in BBC comedy PORRIDGE.

Her feature film credits include CRIMINAL (Lionsgate).

Her stage credits include the lead role of Mariam in the Birmingham REP, Hackney Empire, Northern Stage, Nuffield Southampton sell out tour of A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS and an award winning RSC production of TARTUFFE. She has also worked on several new writing productions with the Young Vic, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Kiln Theatre, Bush Theatre, Sheffield Crucible and Kali Theatre’s touring production about honour killings called TWELVE.

Her voiceover credits include THE BATTERSEA POLTERGEIST (Bafflegab/BBC Radio 4), Audie-winning serial DOCTOR WHO: STRANDED (Big Finish) and audiobooks such as WANT, AN AYAH’S CHOICE, THE LOVE ARRANGEMENT and KARACHI VICE. She has also voiced Helga in the video game THE TALOS PRINCIPLE 2 for SIDE. Commercial campaigns include the NATIONAL TRUST and narration for a NATIONAL SECURITY GOVERNMENT CAMPAIGN.

Amina speaks several languages fluently including Russian, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi – as well as conversational French and Pashto. She has an excellent ear for accents.
