After graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Mairi returned to her native Scotland for a year in rep with the Citizen's Theatre, Glasgow, culminating in a one-woman show MY NAME IS RACHEL CARRIE which toured the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Mairi's other theatre credits include a variety of highly physical devised shows with Volcano Theatre Company and various productions at the Tron and Traverse Theatres. Mairi was seen as Richard III in an all-female production at the Wales Millennium Centre, and has most recently performed in Volcano's SEAGULLS in Taiwan and at the Edinburgh Fringe. Mairi is a powerful and exciting rising talent.
Mairi was nominated for Best Female Performance in the English Language at the Theatre Critics of Wales Awards 2013, for her role in Volcano's, 'A Clockwork Orange' and is a highly skilled singer.
